West End Greenock Food Share

ICFN development workers Alice and Julie had a great visit to the West End Food Share and yet again, met with amazing volunteers led by Morag Paul. The Food Share has just moved to the hall at Westburn Church in Nelson Street and will run alongside the Warm Space at 11 am every Wednesday. Combining the Food Share with the Warm Space has had knock on benefits - Patricia, who cooks for the Warm Space, now has access to vegetables for the soup, in addtion to bread and cakes. The Food Share is open to all to help in the Zero Waste initiative (saving food from landfill) and is much needed resource for so many people at the moment. Why not pop along and have some soup and a chat and pick up some free food while you are there?
